70 Years of Friendship

70+ years of friendship is a precious thing.  My beautiful Mama just turned 88 last week. Her memories are slowly leaving us due to dementia but she is happy,content and still has her wonderful quippy sense of humor!  Barbara and Clarice met each other in LBI (Lutheran Bible Institute) They have been dear friends ever since.  They don't get to see each other very much anymore, but I was able to reunite them for lunch and a photo shoot that could be one of my favorites ever. Clarice drove across town and is as funny and refreshing as ever! Mom's long term memory is better than her short term memory... so they reminisced from their storehouse of experiences.  They dated their husbands together at LBI, were in each others weddings,  raised kids together,  and supported each other through the ups and downs of life.  Yes, 70 years of friendship is a precious thing!
